Pi Chain chains

The Pi Chain production range meets the international DIN 8187 and DIN 8188 standards. The chains are manufactured from quality steels with high mechanical properties.

During automated assembly, they are pre-tensioned to stabilise the dimensions and minimise elongation during the initial operation.

They are lubricated and protected by immersion in an oil bath, packed in oil-proof plastic bags and then packed in cardboard boxes.

The most common types can be found in the price lists; on request, Pizzirani can supply specially made chains (split, ring-shaped) and special designs, after consultation with the technical staff.

In six different sizes, they are suitable for electric motors from size 63 (0.12 kW - 4 pole) to size 180 (22 kW - 4 pole).

The motor slides are designed to solve the problem of belt tension in power transmission. Their compact shape and slotted fixing holes allow easy assembly and an equally simple pulley alignment system.

The special design features of the product allow frequent tensioning adjustments or removal of the belts without removing the electric motor. The movement of the slide is controlled by a screw that is easily adjusted with an ordinary spanner.
